Metallica is giving their fans something to do while staying indoors with their concert series “Metallica Mondays.” Every Monday at 8 p.m. EDT fans will get the chance to re-live Metallica’s most memorable shows. These performances are completely free to watch on Metallica’s YouTube channel or on Facebook.
Last Monday was the debut of the series where the band streamed “Metallica: Live at Slane Castle- June 8, 2019.” This show was a part of their “Worldwired Tour” and was performed in Slane, Ireland.

Tonight is another “Metallica Monday” and the band just announced they will be broadcasting a show from their European Worldwired Arena Tour. It is going to be “Metallica: Live in Paris- September 8, 2017.” The show was at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris, France.
On this night, Metallica performed an 18-song set opening with “Hardwired” and weaving in a few special surprises.
When performing their song “Now That We’re Dead” the band threw in an extended drum solo in the middle. Also, following their song “Halo on Fire” Kirk and Rob performed solos including “Eye of the Beholder,” “Antisocial” and “Anesthesia.”
Metallica also performed a cover of Misfits' “Last Caress.” This performance was a tour debut.
The set consisted of a three-song encore including “Blackened,” “Nothing Else Matters,” with a “Black Hole Sun” snippet intro by Kirk, and “Enter Sandman” with “The Frayed of Sanity” outro.
