I do not remember the exact set list for this King Crimson show, but it was mainly drawn from Beat and Discipline. I'm probably in error about Starless and that should be deleted. it was probably identical to the show they played that week at the Fox Theater in San Diego.

Also, I don't have any items, like a ticket stub, that proves that this show took place in the UC San Diego Main Gym off Scholars Lane near Muir College. I didn't bring a camera. People were sitting on the gym floor or in the grandstands opposite from the stage. The grandstand behind the stage was retracted so that their performance area could be set up there against the wall. Robert Fripp sat in a chair while he played, and he had no lighting whatsoever in his spot on the stage. The swag I picked up at the the show was a burgundy colored t-shirt with King Crimson's Discipline logo (similar in color to the album jacket). But it was definitely on that campus before KC performed at the Fox Theater, which was on the 10th. It was most likely the 8th instead of the 9th though, because I went home a day later after staying overnight in La Jolla with a friend. The show was probably mentioned in UC San Diego's campus newspaper since it was produced by their student government office. This was the only time I saw KC play live.
