Trivium Perform Last Headlining Gig for a While in AU w/ 15 Songs

Trivium is back on the road for the first time since their Europe Summer 2019 tour, and this time they are down under in Australia!

They kicked off the short run, (technically a second summer tour since it's summer in Oz!), on December 4th at the University of Canberra Refectory with a 15 song setlist.

The Orlando metal heavyweights announced on Twitter yesterday that the gig would mark their last headlining performance in a while!

With that said, they will be performing at a Good Things Festival around Australia during the month.

The band made sure to treat Aussie fans to a showcase of favorites across their eight album catalog. Their last full length album was 2017's The Sin and the Sentence and they made sure to open up the night (and the pit) with the title track from the LP, after walking out to Iron Maiden's "Run to the Hills" of course!

The performed plenty of other tracks from the last album like "Beyond Oblivion," "Thrown Into the Fire," "Betrayer" and more! They also weaved in cuts off of Ascendancy, In Waves, Shogun, and the ended their main set with "Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr" - their most performed song to date with nearly 1000 plays! They came back to encore with "In Waves."
