Going to a live music show is truly an experience unlike any other, especially when it's your favorite artist you're going to see. There's nothing like singing along to every word of a song in a room full of like minded fans, or dancing alongside a complete stranger to songs you've had on repeat for as long as you can remember.
If those aren't reasons enough to go to a live show, perhaps we should let some of your favorite artists do the convincing? We've had a ton of artists come through our office in 2019 who opened up about the powerful experience the live show can deliver, watch as Kevin Gates, Finneas, Simple Creatures, AJR and more share the reasons why you should get your behind to catch your favorite artists live and in person, check it out.
Finneas: "If you want to put on a show that people walk away from really moved by, I think you have to form a lot of individual connections with people and kinda spend the whole show doing that."
Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness: "How do you make the show so fresh every time that one, myself and the band are on the edge of our seats and wanting fans every time they show up to just go "I haven't seen anybody dot hat before."
Frank Iero: "If you really want to know what this is all about, if you really want to experience a band and experience these songs and have it really affect the person that you are, I think you need to be at the show."
What a year we've had, thankful for all of the artists who took time to come by the setlist.fm studio and make content with us. Here's to 2020 and hoping you get to experience as many live memorable shows as you can!
