Setlist Playlist: Songs Alter Bridge Perform on Walk The Sky Tour

Myles Kennedy called it "the answer" to 2010's AB III, and at long last, it's finally here!

Alter Bridge have unleashed their sixth studio album, Walk the Sky. The follow up to 2016's The Last Hero dropped in October and features singles "Wouldn't You Rather," "Pay No Mind," "Take the Crown," "In the Deep" and "Dying Light."

To celebrate the release, the group has embarked on an accompanying European/ UK tour, which kicked off November 12 at KB Hallen in Copenhagen and is expected to run through December 21, concluding at the O2 in London. Shinedown, Sevendust and the Raven Age have been providing support along the way.

Members Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips have been treating fans to a stacked, 17-song setlist featuring new songs and fan-favorites like "Metalingus," "Blackbird" and "Addicted to Pain."

"Wouldn't You Rather"

This dark, anthemic track was our first listen to Walk The Sky. It was released back in June as the album's lead single, and has quickly become a fan-favorite – especially due to Mark Tremonti's electric guitar solo in the middle!

Alter Bridge usually open up their shows with this powerhouse, after a recording of "One Life." They've played it 39 times since its September debut, and have opened with it on tour 14 times thus far.

"Pay No Mind"

"Pay No Mind" was the second single released ahead of the album, preceding "Take the Crown," "In the Deep" and "Dying Light." Alter Bridge dropped this track in July, and its heavy, hard-rock-meets-metal riffs and Kennedy's vocals are on point – but what has fans talking is its experimental electronic sound.

The band usually plays this song between "Come to Life" and "Ghost of Days Gone By." It's been performed live 38 times so far.

"Metalingus"

"Metalingus" is one of Alter Bridge's OG tracks from their 2004 debut, One Day Remains. Although it was never released as a single, the song remains one of the group's most popular and well-known songs to date. "Metalingus" reached an entirely new audience when WWE superstar Edge used it as his entrance theme in 2004. He used it until he retired in 2011.

"Metalingus" is Alter Bridge's most-played song EVER, having been performed live a whopping 565 times! The song made its debut on the band's One Day Remains Tour in 2004. The band usually closes out their main set with this song, which fires the audience up for the encore.

"Godspeed"

This song wasn't released as a single, but it's become one of Walk the Sky's most popular, particularly due to its poignant live performances. Alter Bridge have been ending their shows with an "Addicted to Pain" and "Godspeed" encore, and have played the song 14 times.

"'Godspeed' is probably my favorite track," Tremonti said.

"...and that one, more than any other when I play it for other people, they say, ‘That’s your song? I wouldn’t have guessed it.’ Right off the bat it sounds like a different band for a moment, and that’s exciting to me. That’s what I was trying to do – that’s what I was chasing."
