Check Out Highlights From REO Speedwagon's 2019 Endless Tour!

Do they ever stop? Believe it or not, REO Speedwagon is in the midst of yet another live run as they trek across the U.S. on their 2019 tour. And with multiple dates already lined up for 2020, there are no signs of stopping for the midwest natives.

Since their 2018 co-headlining tour with Chicago, REO Speedwagon have seemingly continued the show through 2019, minus the company. Although not necessarily deemed a particular tour, REO Speedwagon have brought their usual high-energy performances to fans across North America since the start of 2019.

Known as a popular live band, it’s no surprise that the pop rock legends are taking advantage of their warranted success. With sixteen full studio albums under their belt, REO Speedwagon sure have much to showcase during their live appearances.

Averaging around an eighteen to twenty-song setlist every night, the band has laid out a solid foundation of songs, touching on a fair number of records in their extensive catalogue. Of course, it’s no surprise that they have pulled more songs off of their hit album Hi Infidelity (1980) as it is certified diamond in sales.

Throwing in hits during the main set like “Don’t Let Him Go,” “Keep Pushin’,” “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” “Tough Guys,” “Take It on the Run,” “Time for Me to Fly,” “Back on the Road Again” and “Ridin’ the Storm Out,” it is clear that REO Speedwagon have meticulously crafted the perfect setlist for their 2019 run.

Not only have they spread out their tracks over various albums, but they’ve also perfectly blended their unique sound from record to record.

Ending the show nearly every night with a two-song encore, REO Speedwagon have been sure to give audiences a final taste of their greatness to finish off the once-in-a-lifetime show.

Typically featuring two of their most-played songs live, “Keep On Loving You” and “Roll With the Changes,” the guys end on a high note at every venue as they are usually accompanied by a crowd sing along to send them off.

While their setlists have seldom failed to entertain, a REO Speedwagon show stretches far beyond song choice. With unparalleled energy and showmanship at every date, it’s hard to match the polished Speedwagon Act.

And you never know what surprises might find their way into the show on a given night. In fact, frontman Kevin Cronin invited his own special guest to share the stage with him back in September at Kaaboo Music Festival. During their performance of “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” Cronin welcomed his own daughter to split vocal duties throughout the song. Talk about a dynamic duo.
