Billy Joel at The Garden 2019 Show Adds "Baby Grand" to Setlist

Over the weekend on November 15th, Billy Joel performed another one of his all-encompassing, monthly, Billy Joel at The Garden sets! Before we talk about what he performed during the 26-song set, Joel recently announced exciting news that the residency will extend through til March 2020. That show will mark the legendary performer's 74th consecutive monthly concert at MSG. The show will happen on March 19th.

His latest show offered a new setlist flow, kicking the night off on a high-energy note with "We Didn't Start the Fire" before diving into career-making hits like "My Life," Just the Way You Are," "Don't Ask Me Why" and a covers mash up of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" and "Runaround Sue."

The most exciting part of the night came eight songs in, when Joel brought out daughter Alexa Ray to perform "Baby Grand." The 1986 lick hadn't been performed since June 2018!

That's not the end of the night however, as Joel comes back to encore four songs, including "Uptown Girl" and "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me." The final song is "You May Be Right," which weaves in a snippet of "Rock and Roll" by Led Zeppelin.
