A Look Inside Lynyrd Skynyrd's 2018 Farewell Tour

It's hard to imagine a world without the purveyors of southern rock, the legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd. But alas, all good things must come to an end at some point, and the "Free Bird" rockers are milking their end currently on their Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour.

The tour started this spring and has dates well into 2019, and more will probably get announced along the way. In a candid interview with Fox, Gary Rossington noted that despite health problems, this is certainly not the end for the Skynyrds.

“It takes a long time to finish a farewell tour when you’re like us, ‘cause we’ve played everywhere. There’s thousands of venues. I keep jokin’ it’d take 10 years to do the farewell tour,” he said, “But then after that, after a few years of doin’ [the farewell tour], we’re gonna do a new record. So, we won’t go away, but we won’t be touring every year like we do.”

We've heard similar sentiments from other greats like Ozzy Osbourne. Ultimately, age ain't nothing but a numba and rock 'n' roll lives on forever. So let's perk up and take a look at pertinent info we've drawn from the tour's setlists.
