Little Big Town Play "Pain Killer" Album Release Gig 6 Years Ago

Six years ago today, country music quartet Little Big Town played a special show in New York City to celebrate the release of their sixth studio album, Pain Killer. The gig at Best Buy Theater was a play through of the entire album, true to the track list. Their were five live debuts, including the soon-to-be #1 Grammy-winning single, “Girl Crush.” The other four songs that got their stage reveal were “Tumble and Fall” “Good People” “Things You Don’t Think About” and album closer “Silver and Gold.”

That wasn’t the end of the set, though! LBT went on to play some select songs from their previous albums including “Little White Church” and “Bring It On Home.” After covering Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” they rolled into “Tornado” and closed out the show with fan favorites (and two most-performed songs to date) “Pontoon” and “Boondocks."
