Reggae rock legends Sublime with Rome recently wrapped up their headlining Fall Tour. They stopped by the Setlist.Fm studio ahead of that trek to dish about their strategy behind building a setlist, their favorite crowd reactions, covering Post Malone's "Goodbyes," AND performing with him.

On favorite crowd reaction:
"Mosh pits are nice, it's like a nice thank you." - Rome Ramirez
"And when the crowd's into it, you know? That's the best thank you to us when people can give us a really good reaction, have fun." - Carlos Verdugo
"When they tell us to turn down." - Eric Wilson
On building a setlist:
"Fan feedback, that's everything. You just never know, you got to experiment with stuff. We're kind of infamous for having something and then just really changing it up on the fly." - Ramirez
"We just write the names of the songs down and throw them in a raffle machine and then that's how it's laid out, however it falls out." - Wilson
"That's the best way, fan feedback. Because if you got two sleepers, people are like 'dude, we want to party,.' Hit 'em with a sleeper and then a party one, maybe. OR you can do just first half of sleepers, and then just get everyone like 'PSYCHE mother f***er!' and go into punk rock for the second half." - Ramirez
On their collaboration with Post Malone:
"Post, he's a good guy. He's like musician's musician. He likes all the B-cuts and stuff so he got along with us because we all like the same music. He's like a superstar! There was like 500 people all the time surrounding him with cameras and we were kind of just like 'sure man wherever you want us to go...' But he's been out friend for a while now so for us to go up and do the stage and help him out with his set, it was sick, it was a good time." - Ramirez.
