twenty one pilots are in the midst of their highly touted Bandito Tour, and it's safe to say they've successfully risen from the trenches.
After a yearlong hiatus, the Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun duo returned to the stage in support of their fifth studio effort, Trench. The album features singles "Jumpsuit,” “Nico and the Niners,” “Levitate” “My Blood” as well as ten other original tracks.
Kicking off on October 16th, the Bandito Tour has made its way through tons of North American cities so far, but the 93-date jaunt is far from over. If you're thinking about heading to a show, keep reading. We have all you need to know going into the Bandito Tour.
What songs do they play?
This may be twenty one pilots' first album in three years (I heard your gasp from here), but they make sure to include a collection of older songs in the setlist. Fans can look forward to hearing songs from all of the band's albums, notably Trench, Blurryface and Vessel.
Trench songs you'll hear:
- "Jumpsuit"
- "Nico and the Niners"
- "Levitate"
- "Morph"
- "Pet Cheetah"
- "Neon Gravestones"
- "Bandito"
- "Leave the City"
- "My Blood"
Blurryface songs you'll hear:
- "Fairly Local"
- "Stressed Out"
- "Lane Boy"
- "Ride"
- "We Don't Believe What's on TV"
- "The Judge"
Vessel songs you'll hear:

- "Car Radio"
- "Trees"
What does the setlist look like?
The band introduces the audience to Trench with "Jumpsuit," which is characterized by its heavy-handed bass riffs and a soothing combination of Joseph's hushed vocals. The gradual intensity of the song makes it a good show opener and mood-setter.
They've opened with "Jumpsuit" at most shows so far and typically close the main set with "Car Radio" and finish out the encore with "Trees."
The main set is 20 songs and the encore consists of two.
How long is the show?
Each show runs a little under two hours.
Any Theatrics?
Of course Joseph and Dunn are going to come back in style; the show incorporates stunts, lasers, giant screens and gravity-defying catwalks over the crowd. Check out this video to see what I mean...
Do they sing any covers?
The boys have been throwing in two covers so far: Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" and The Beatles' "Hey Jude." Both of these have been performed with one of their special guests.
Well, who are the special guests?
Glad you asked! AWOLNATION and Max Frost are joining twenty one pilots on the road. Listen to some of their stuff in the videos below!
