Aerosmith Played 19-Song Set on Joe Perry's Birthday in 1988

Joe Perry, the iconic lead guitarist of Aerosmith, turns 70 today, September 10th! We're celebrating the birthday boy by unleashing a throwback setlist from a concert that happened on his special day in 1988.

The historic show took place on his 38th birthday at the epic Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California, a stop on their Permanent Vacation Tour in support of their 9th album release of the same name.

The 19-song setlist fired off with "Rats in the Cellar" to amp up the crowd. The night was spaced out with songs off PV, six to be exact, and some of their biggest hits like "Dream On," "Sweet Emotion," and PV's own "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)."

They also did their wild renditions of cover songs like "Milk Cow Blues" by Kokomo Arnold, "Walking the Dog," Rufus Thomas, and set ender "Peter Gunn Theme" by Henry Mancini.

They came back to encore with their anthemic hit "Walk This Way." Check out the setlist below!
