Celine Dion announced the Courage World Tour on April 3, 2019 at a special event held at the Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, in support of her upcoming studio album Courage due out November 15, 2019. The live streamed event helped generate a strong demand for sales leaving Dion and team with no choice but to add multiple dates in select cities.
The time has finally come and Dion has officially kicked off the highly anticipated Courage World Tour in Quebec City, Canada with a 20-song setlist including a 2-track encore! What all did she play? Let's find out!
Celine's latest spectacle is taking over arenas so a grand show deserves a grand intro, check out the incredible intro and opening song "It's All Coming Back To Me Now."
Then come the live debuts of the evening, Dion performed her title track "Courage" for the first-time ever at the kickoff! Watch as the icon delivers a goosebumps-inducing performance of the song below.
The other live debut from the Courage World Tour kickoff comes with "Lying Down," a brand new song she just released this week. Imagine being lucky enough to be in that audience for two live debuts!
Of course the setlist was stacked with a ton of her signature hits like "The Power of Love" and even "Beauty and the Beast" but you're dying to know if she played "My Heart Will Go On" and the answer is yes, she did.
While there were only two live debuts at the show kickoff we should keep in mind that this tour is in support of the album Courage which isn't due out until November 15, so we have a hunch she'll be switching up the setlist the closer it gets to album release and as more singles come out. So keep checking back to see when she inserts new music throughout the tour!
