Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls Perform 16-Song Livestream Show

After 14 solo shows played during lockdown, English punk and folk singer/songwriter Frank Turner reunites with The Sleeping Souls for their first performance since all of this COVID-19 chaos began. The August 9th livestream via the app Dice.fm also marked a special performance milestone for Turner:

"Firstly, it's the first time I'll be seeing and playing with my band since lockdown started; having the full range of musicians and instruments will be a nice change from playing solo to my phone. Secondly, my crew have put together an amazing production for the show, with help from our friends at Sennheiser: top quality audio, video and lighting. And finally, it'll be my 2,500th show, one for the history books, I can't wait.” - Frank Turner

So what did Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls play during Turner's 2,500th show? Let's take a look at our setlist.fm data to find out, and check out this instagram post to see how the socially distanced performance looked behind the scenes!

While the full-production show was played with no live audience, fans were able to tune in via Dice.fm for the pay-per-view event. The 16-song setlist opened with 2016's "Get Better" before working into "1933," "The Lioness" and "Try This at Home" which according to our data has been played a total of 921 times to date. The show closed with "Four Simple Words" and featured no encore... perhaps not having a live audience there to request it had something to do with it? Maybe.
