Clutch Played 14-Song Fan Curated Setlist for Livestream Concert

Clutch's "Live from the Doom Saloon Volume II" took place this past Friday, August 7th in Frederick, Maryland. The livestream event was extra special, as Clutch fans got a chance to curate and submit their own 14-song setlist. Ahead of the show, they were encouraged to pick their "dream 14-song setlist," and Clutch got in over 4000 submissions!

The winning setlist included plenty of deep cuts and rare gems that haven't been performed in years. Not only did the lucky winner get the privilege of having their setlist featured, but they also won: a TremLord 30 combo amplifier from Orange Amps, a Creepy Fingers stompbox designed by Fu Manchu’s Brad Davis, a Jim Dunlop CryBaby wah pedal, a case of Liquid Death mountain water, and Clutch merchandise.

The virtual concert cost $9 and donations from the show went to the Innocent Lives Foundation.

So what did the winning setlist contain? The song opener was a more recent lick - "How to Shake Hands." But fans got treated to some deep cuts that Clutch unearthed especially for the concert:

  • "Rock n Roll Outlaw" first time since 2012
  • "Far Country" first time since 1997
  • "What Would a Wookie Do?" first time since 2007
  • "King of Arizona" first time since 2012

And last but not least, the set closed with "Oregon," which was played for the first time since 2014.
