The Who wrapped up the first leg of their Moving On! Tour on June 1 in Toronto, Ontario and will kick things back up on September 6 in St. Paul, Minnesota at Xcel Energy Center. Before they hit the road again this fall to finish up the remaining tour dates, The Who has shared a clip featuring Pete Townshend discussing the surprising success of The Who's Tommy and how they're doing some new things they've never done before on the Moving On! Tour.
"When Tommy came out it did so well. I had serious music critics [say] this is a really imaginative and successful piece of composing, on the other hand it's a stupid story. We were being treated very seriously, and as a budding serious composer, I loved that."
