See Our Setlist Predictions for Deep Purple's Long Goodbye Tour!

It’s no surprise Deep Purple are heading back out on the road once again. After nearly a year of downtime, the legendary rock band is ready to share their timeless hits with fans across the United States on the eighth leg of The Long Goodbye Tour. Yes, you’re reading that correctly. This upcoming U.S. tour will be the eighth leg in total thus far. And with future dates already booked beyond the upcoming U.S. dates, it’s hard to predict when exactly The Long Goodbye Tour will come to an end.

Originally starting back in 2017, this massive tour hasn’t necessarily been deemed a farewell tour, however the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers haven’t shied away from their reality either. With recent well-documented health scares concerning a couple of members, bassist Roger Glover was sure to make a statement about the curious name of the long-running tour.

"All we’re doing is putting our fans on notice that we’re in our 70s now. The realization is there that sooner or later we are going to have to stop."

Luckily, despite the farewell-type label, Deep Purple don't seem to be going anywhere just yet. Having already played over one hundred twenty shows around the world in the past two years, the classic rockers have shown no signs of slowing down.

Known for their rigorous touring schedule since the 1960s, Deep Purple are more than ready to come back full force for a 30+ date schedule around the United States. With a current lineup featuring founding member Ian Paice (drums), long time members Ian Gillan (vocals) and Roger Glover (bass), along with Steve Morse (guitar) and Don Airey (keyboards), we are certain Deep Purple will not disappoint.

The upcoming leg of The Long Goodbye Tour will kickoff on September 3 in Riverside, California and wrap on October 19 in Minneapolis, Minnesota before traveling to Europe in December. However, with over eighty studio, live, and compilation albums combined, it is hard to fathom how the band will devise a setlist for the upcoming dates.

Luckily, we’re here to add a bit of insight into what you can expect to hear from Deep Purple at a show near you. Check out our setlist predictions below!
