Jeff Lynne's ELO Brings Summer 2019 North American Tour to an End
Famed musician and producer Jeff Lynne has just wrapped up his 20-date Summer 2019 North American Tour with his ELO – or the Electric Light Orchestra.
The arena tour kicked off June 20 in Anaheim at the Honda Center and visited cities throughout the US and Canada like Vancouver, Portland, Nashville and Detroit before coming to a close last night (August 1) in Pittsburgh at PPG Paints Arena.
Last summer's tour was Lynne's first in North America in over 30 years, and we're hoping he'll continue bringing the hits! On this run, Lynne and co. played classic deeps cuts like "Evil Woman," "Mr. Blue Sky," "Telephone Line" and "Turn to Stone" as well as "When I Was a Boy" from Alone in the Universe, their 13th studio album released in 2015.
Take a look at some highlights from Jeff Lynne and the ELO's North American trek!
June 20 – Anaheim, CA
The tour's opening night at the Honda Center was certainly a night to remember. The group played a massive 20-song setlist including covers of Traveling Wilburys' "Handle With Care," The Move's "Do Ya" and Chuck Berry's "Roll Over Beethoven."
You can read our FULL show recap here... but in the meantime, check out this rendition of "Handle With Care!"

The orchestra played a similar setlist at Capital One Arena, with highlights in opener "Standin' in the Rain" and songs "Don't Bring Me Down," "Shine a Little Love" and "Turn to Stone."
Other songs that made the cut were "All Over the World," "Livin' Thing" and "Wild West Hero."
Here's a fan video of "Standin' in the Rain" off of ELO's 1977 album Out of the Blue.
