Radiohead fans don't have to suffer post tour depression for too long, because frontman Thom Yorke has already announced a tour of his own. The solo trek is scheduled to take off November 23rd in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and wrap up December 22 in Las Vegas, Nevada, just in time for the holidays.
According to an announcement made by Radiohead, the tour will consist of “a live electronic performance featuring Nigel Godrich and audiovisual artist and frequent collaborator Tarik Barri.” The tour is dubbed the “Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes U.S. Tour,” and the live performance will span his solo works The Eraser and Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes and Atoms for Peace’s Amok,” according to a press release.
Opening support will come from Radiohead's favorite avant-cellist, Oliver Coates. During Yorke's performances in December 2017 with Godrich and Barri, he debuted some new songs like "I'm A Very Rude Person." He has since posted cryptic tweets about recording new music, which would make it his first solo release since 2014's Tomorrow's Mordern Boxes.
This jaunt also coincides with Yorke's score for the upcoming horror film remake Suspiria - his first major feature film composition. Head to Ticketmaster to cop tickets and check out the full tour itinerary below!
