Setlist Highlights From Slash's 2019 Living the Dream Tour

Guitar god Slash has been living the dream lately. He may have risen to fame with his Guns N' Roses debauchery, but there's more to him than his monstrous riffs and trademark top hat.

In fact, the 53-year-old is currently touring with his solo band Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators in support of their latest album, Living the Dream.

Living the Dream is Slash's fourth solo album, and his third with bandmates Myles Kennedy (vocals), Todd Kerns (bass), Brent Fitz (drums) and Frank Sidoris (guitar).

He's just announced an accompanying live album and concert film of the same name, recorded with The Conspirators. The performance at hand was recorded during one of the band's tour stops earlier this year at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, and includes songs like "Halo," "Ghost," "Back From Cali" and "Shadow Life." It's expected to be released September 20.

In the meantime, there's a lot of live material to look forward to! The Living the Dream Tour kicked off July 15 in San Fransisco and will be stopping in cities throughout North America until its close August 13 in Orlando.

Slash and co. have been highlighting Living the Dream songs as well as older cuts from previous albums Apocalyptic Love and World On Fire and a slew of Slash's solo and Guns N' Roses licks.

Take a look at some of the highlights from their Living the Dream tour so far!

July 15 – San Francisco

The group went to battle opening night at The Warfield in San Fran with a thunderous 20-song main set and two-song encore. The show marked guitarist Frank Sidoris' return to the stage, following some family-related time off.

Highlights included Slash songs "Back From Cali," "We're All Gonna Die" and "Doctor Alibi," with Kerns taking over lead vocals for the latter two.

"Wicked Stone" saw an epic, 12-minute guitar solo by Slash himself, and they closed out the main set with "You're a Lie" and "World On Fire" before a two-song encore of "Avalon" and "Anastasia."

Slash and co. made their way into Nardwuar territory at Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver last night (July 18).

He and The Conspirators stuck to the same setlist, kicking things off with "The Call of the Wild," "Halo" and "Standing in the Sun" before digging into cuts like "The One You Loved Is Gone," "Mind Your Manners" and GNR song "Nightrain."
