Iron Maiden Kickoff Legacy of the Beast Tour in North America!

Iron Maiden have landed in the States! The iconic metal gods have brought their all-out production and shock rock performance for a 33-city trek of North America. They kicked it off last night, July 18th, in Sunrise, Florida at the BB&T Center.

Drummer Nicko McBrain described the tour as such:

"When you're there in the flesh and you see this incredible stage set and the production we put into this show, you're going to be absolutely astounded."

And with an elaborate stage show comes an elaborate setlist. Their 16 song setlist remained the same as their European leg. But this setlist does not dissapoint. It carries cuts from their hefty selection of 1980s material, mixed in with later works.

The night opens up with "Aces High," which features a SPITFIRE buzzing the stage, which is "90-percent-sized replica of an actual Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb registration number AA 853 from 302 Squadron that saw active duty in 1941," according to Blabbermouth.

"Aces High" Live

The setlist also touches on a number of fan favorites and deep cuts like "Where Eagles Dare," "The Trooper," "Flight of Icarus," "The Number of the Beast," and more, including a three-song encore of bangers.

Check out a couple of fan-caught videos from opening night to get a taste of the extraordinary stage performance.
