As Dead & Company start to wind down their epic summer 2019 tour, we've been drooling over every setlist as each one has been unique and Deadhead worthy. This year's D&C sets have been filled to the brim with deep cuts, including some live debuts by the collective.
During their stop at Dos Equis Pavillion in Dallas, Texas last night, Dead & Company dusted off a few more deep cuts from the vault. The first set started with John Mayer leading the Dead crew into "Bertha."
Later in the set, Dead & Co decided to dust off two Texas-themed tracks for the Dallas fans. First they tour debuted "Deep Elem Blues," a traditional American song that was often performed by the Grateful Dead.
After easing into "Friend of the Devil," the band went into Marty Robbins classic "El Paso." Watch them jamming out "Deep Elem" below!
The second set got the crowd fired up for the night by starting out with "Shakedown Street." They played "St. Stephen" for the forth time on this tour, but made sure to improv with the traditional Dead "William Tell Bridge" jam. And of course, you know what came next, a smooth segue into "The Eleven."
They ended the main set with a rendition of The Young Rascal's "Good Lovin'" before returning to the stage to encore "Black Muddy Water." Check out the full, 17-song setlist below!
D&C will be wrapping up their Summer 2019 Tour this weekend! They'll be closing out the tour with two shows in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. Make sure to check back with us on Monday to hear all about the epic finale.
