The Rolling Stones Kickoff No Filter Tour with a 20 Song Setlist!

It's been a long time coming, the start of The Rolling Stones North American comeback tour. After having to postpone the No Filter Tour so that Mick Jagger could undergo heart surgery, the reschedule of the highly anticipated trek was uncertain. But the tough as nails rocker made a speedy recovery, and now during the kickoff of their reschedule tour, Jagger proved to be in tip-top shape as The Stones energetically performed 20 songs throughout the night (June 20) at Chicago's Soldier Field.

“We love Chicago so much we decided to start the tour here instead of Miami,” Jagger proclaimed.

The night got fired off with "Street Fighting Man" on a massive stage that boasted a long catwalk for Jagger to reign and pull out his moves in full force. The surgery clearly had no control over his trademark moves and US fans got to witness The Stones at their best.

The beginning of the set also featured a performance of Steel Wheels' deep cut "Sad Sad Sad," which the band hadn't performed since 2002! Following this, they took a song by request! "You Got Me Rocking." Then, after they gave fans "You Can't Always Get What You Want," they switched to the B-Stage.

They did acoustic renditions of "Angie" and "Dead Flowers" before diving into several staple Stones tracks and a showcase of core cuts from their extensive catalog - "Sympathy For the Devil," "Honky Tonk Woman," "Paint it Black," "Start Me Up" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash." Keith Richards took to vocal leads on "You Got the Silver" and "Before They Make Me Run."

The night couldn't end without a fulfilling encore, which was anything but disappointing as they busted out "Gimme Shelter" and "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction."
