Dead & Company's 2019 tour has brought sunshine, rainbows, smiles and more to cities across the US thus far. At every stop, D&C have offered up jams of Dead classics like "Sugar Magnolia," "Terrapin Station," "Friend of the Devil," "China Cat Sunflower," "Shakedown Street," "Fire on the Mountain," "High Time," "Althea," "Casey Jones," and much, much more.
They've busted out iconic Jerry Garcia solo licks like "Sugaree" and "Bird Song," and done fan-favorite renditions of traditional numbers like "Peggy-O," "Knockin' On Heaven's Door," "Morning Dew," and "Not Fade Away."
Now that the Grateful Dead spin-off band has hit the halfway mark on their summer tour, us Deadheads can't help but come up with dream setlists in our minds, pondering on what they might pull out at the next stop. And with so many live debuts by D&C on the tour so far, the surprises are truly endless.
While my date with the Dead has already come and gone, you can bet that I'm still following along with the tour VIA live streams, as I'm sure many of you are! Therefore, I've taken it upon myself to write down a few of my favorite tunes that haven't popped up yet, and by way of written request, I hope to manifest one, if not all of these five setlist wishes!
