Dave Matthews Band recently postponed their summer 2020 to next year. It will now kickoff in Uncasville, Connecticut on June 8 and 9, 2021.
"We are disappointed to announce, that in light of the global COVID-19 pandemic, we will be moving all of our 2020 summer dates to the summer of 2021. We make this decision with the health, safety, and well-being of our fans, touring crew, and venue staff as our priority," they said in a statement.
While we wait til next year for DMB's return to the road, they're blessing fans by launching a weekly livestream webcast of archival footage titled Drive-In Concert Series. It begins tonight, May 6th, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT via the nugsnet YouTube page. Each week's livestream is free, but it will feature a spotlight charity you can donate to. This week it's the World Central Kitchen.
The first concert is DMB's show at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana from June 29th, 2019. The excitement for the launch has landed the livestream a spot on our "Concert of the Day." Keep reading to check out the setlist gems and get amped for tonight's showing!
2019 marked DMB's second return to the Ruoff Music Center. Just like in 2018, they graced the stage for two nights, back-to-back. The livestream will be from the second night, which carried the longer setlist of the two, clocking in at 22 songs.
The show was part of their summer 2019 tour, and it opens with DMB hit "Anyone Seen the Bridge." The career sprawling setlist features a lil something for everyone. It offers hits like "Don't Drink the Water," "Louisiana Bayou," "Tripping Billies," "Warehouse" and "Satellite."
The jam band also worked in deep cuts like "Fool to Think," "Idea of You," "Water into Wine," and "Rooftop." They closed out the main set with 1990s gem "Rapunzel" and then came back out to encore two of their most most performed songs to date - "Two Step" and "Ants Marching."
