Bryan Adams Shine a Light North American 2019 Tour Highlights

So many epic musical acts have come out of Canada for decades, and Bryan Adams is no exception. The accomplished singer and songwriter has done more for the world than gift it with radio hits. His wikipedia resume boasts that he's also a photographer, philanthropist, AND activist! WHATTA GUY!

Adams has been on tour in support of his latest studio album Shine a Light. Currently trekking through North America, the reception for the tour has been overwhelmingly positive as the "Summer of '69" singer tacked on more dates to the tour in September, following his co-headlining tour with Billy Idol. So there will be plenty of opportunities to catch Adams perform this year, and we'll lay out all the highlights to convince you why!

Adams' setlist for the tour is long and generous, full of his feel-good hits. It clocks out at 29 songs and is inclusive to multiple albums that make up his 14 LP catalog, and then some! Although it's the "Shine A Light" tour, only two tracks off the album have it made it onto most of the setlists - "Shine a Light" and "I Could Get Used to This."

Their 2019 setlist is mostly pulling from his acclaimed 1984 record Reckless. The most performed songs have been "Summer of '69," "Cuts Like a Knife," "Heaven," and "Shine a Light."

While the setlist is pretty set in stone, Adams does a mastery job of switching out songs here and there. Some nights you'll get to hear deeper cuts like "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" "Lonely Nights" and "Into the Fire."

He's also a fan of performing covers. Recently he's done everything from "I Fought the Law" by The Crickets to "Rebel Rebel" by David Bowie.
