Concert of Day: Joe Russo's Almost Dead at Orpheum Theatre 2018

Joe Russo's Almost Dead have launched a couch tour series called RAD Night in America.

Every Tuesday, members Marco Benevento, Dave Dreiwitz, Tom Hamilton, Scott Metzger and Joe Russo are inviting fans to "recline & rewind" as they hand-pick a show to stream on 2nu.gs/JRAD. (We're keeping a running list of shows to stream from your couch – check that out HERE.)

The group's first stream was their October 2, 2015 performance at the Brooklyn Bowl in New York City. Tonight, April 7th, they're throwing it back to 2018 with their February 18th show at the Orpheum Theatre in Madison, Wisconsin.

That night, JRAD performed 12 songs, kicking off the first set with "Althea," followed by Grateful Dead classics "Cumberland Blues," "Row Jimmy," "Jack Straw" and "Tennessee Jed." They also played "Gonesville" off Bob Weir's 2016 solo album Blue Mountain.

The second set consisted of "Let It Grow," "Crazy Fingers," "Estimated Prophet," "Terrapin Station Suite" and a cover of Bonnie Dobson's "Morning Dew." They closed out the show with a traditional cover of "Samson and Delilah."

Tune in to 2nu.gs/JRAD at 5PM ET/2PM PT to watch the full performance.
