Even before they took the stage, Aerosmith captured the audience's attention by taking fans to the very beginning of their story through clips and videos of the guys throughout their adolescent youth.

One of the clips features an Aerosmith cameo during a 1991 episode of The Simpsons, which lead singer Steven Tyler decided to incorporate into their first night of their residency. Tyler sported a simple, yellow t-shirt that featured a Simpson-fied version of the band. Who needs stage costumes when you're Steven Tyler?!

Aerosmith not only invites fans to come along a rocking musical journey with them, but they also give them a peek into their evolving stage creativity. The band sought out to create an immersive world that allows you to get closer to see Steven Tyler! The rockers created ramps that connect the stage to the upper-mezzanine level that lies above the floor and VIP booths that allowed fans to get as close as grazing Tyler's signature scarves wrapped around his microphone stand.

Other than their stage set up, the real show presented itself through their 16-track career-spanning slew of hits! The legendary rockers touched upon the higher points of their career that any dedicated fan would appreciate including anthems "Sweet Emotion," "Back in the Saddle," "Kings and Queens," and encore track "Dream On." They also incorporated 80s anthems "Love In An Elevator" and "Dude Looks Like a Lady," as well as 90s chart-topping Armageddon ballad "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing," which featured a full-string quartet!

Aerosmith even had some extra time to squeeze in covers from Fleetwood Mac's "Stop Messin' Around," to Tiny Bradshaw's "Train Kept A-Rollin'" for their opening song.

Aerosmith's Setlist

Toward the end of their set, Aerosmith reminded the crowd of serious issues that await them when they leave the venue. During their performance of "Livin on the Edge," which was originally written in context of the Rodney King riots that broke out in 1992 in Los Angeles, Tyler reframed the track for this generation's biggest social and political concerns. The hit song was accompanied by images and videos of morbid realities such as children with toy guns to glaciers melting in the arctic.

Even though the band wants to remind audiences of social issues, they more importantly want fans to have only the best memories of the show. The Toxic Twins (a.k.a. Steven Tyler and lead guitarist Joe Perry) even took time to rev up fans with Permanent Vacation track "Hangman Jury" where they played riffs off one other from Perry's guitar to Tyler's harmonica.

During their encore "Walk This Way," the band transitioned into a full-throttle performance that left fans in complete awe. The final song had Tyler and Perry walking down a catwalk that lifted them above the audience as they rocked the venue. Pretty much anywhere you sit in the venue, you're bound to get a closer glimpse of Tyler at any point throughout the show.

Only in Vegas can you find an A-list show like Aerosmith accompanied with prime artist interaction equivalent to a first-time gig. Whether you are a die hard fan or just along for the ride, Aerosmith serve up an arrangement of tunes sure to satisfy any lover of classic rock.
