It has been 29 years since The Cure dropped their iconic live album Entreat on March 25, 1991.
Recorded during a three-night stint at London’s Wembley Arena in July 1989, this 8-song LP consist of songs entirely performed off of the bands 1989 record Disintegration. Check out one of the 27-song setlists from the concerts right here:
The album was originally distributed exclusively in France as a promotional tool, but eventually made its way to be released worldwide.
Entreat Plus was released later and included 4 songs not on the original album. These songs were “Plainsong,” “Lullaby,” “The Same Deep Water as You” and “Lovesong.”
Now that The Cure has become one of the most well-known British alternative rock bands, we’re diving into the setlist stats of the album and sharing which songs have gotten the most love in a live setting over the years. All of the songs off of this album were live debuted in 1989 prior to the albums release date.
