Bruce Springsteen's 27-Song Hyde Park 2009 Set is Now on YouTube

Live music has been put on a pause, so now is the perfect time to revisit some iconic concerts, and Bruce Springsteen is making that experience much easier for his massive fanbase. Yesterday, the Boss shared Bruce and the E Street Band's entire "Live in Hyde Park" performance from June 28, 2009 on YouTube and Apple Music!

The epic concert was part of London's Hard Rock Calling Festival. The festival retired in 2013 but continued as "The Calling" in 2014 and 2015 before officially calling it quits.

Springsteen's set was released as a film directed by Thom Zimney on DVD and Blu-ray in 2010. This is the movie's first official digital release, free for fans to enjoy while they implement social distancing to keep safe from the Coronavirus.

“Practice social distancing and stream ‘London Calling: Live In Hyde Park’ from the comfort of your own home, now on YouTube and Apple Music in its entirety for the first time!” reads a Springsteen said on Twitter. “Bruce and the E Street Band’s 2009 concert is an absolute powerhouse.”

The whopping 27-song set is filled to the brim with hits and deep cuts, along with songs off his 2009 album Working on a Dream, which he was touring in support during that time.

The set opens up with a cover of "London Calling" by the Clash and the band follows it up with a bevy of staples like "Badlands," "She's the One," "Out in the Street," and "Born to Run."

The Boss made the performance extra special by playing a number of songs requested via signs in the crowd. First up was "Bobby Jean" and then a cover of Jimmy Cliff's "Trapped," followed by "No Surrender" featuring special guest Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem. A couple songs later they did "Racing in the Street" and then the last sign request song came during the 5-song encore - "Jungleland."

The encore and set ended on one of his biggest songs to date - "Dancing in the Dark." Check out the entire setlist right here:
