A Look Inside Zoé's 2019 Setlist, On Tour With Metric

If Zoé is unfamiliar to you, they won't be for long. Comprised of lead by vocalist León Larregui, lead guitarist Sergio Acosta, keyboardist Jesus Baez, bassist Angel Mosqueda and drummer Rodrigo Guardiola, the Mexican rock group have long established themselves as the leading artists of Spanish rock since the late 90s.

The Grammy Award-winning band is currently touring the U.S. with Canadian rock band Metric. Only a month after winning the Grammy for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album for their album Aztlán, the band is taking this opportunity to distinctly crossover into the U.S. market. Aztlán is the group's sixth studio album and follows suit with their creative consistency as well as distinctive musical style. Over the years, Zoé has seen their following steadily grow, especially now with English-speaking fans coming to their shows.

“In the United States, or outside of Mexico, like London for example,” explains Larregui. “Latinos generally arrive with their partners that don’t speak Spanish and, of course, they begin to fall in love with the music because of their partner, and they become familiar with the music and learn the language or become interested in what it’s saying, or they like the music and don’t know what you’re saying, but they want to know.”

As Zoé continues to tour with Metric across the states, we have some tour insight that you should definitely know before heading to one of their amazing shows!
