Alice Cooper Announces North American Summer Dates

While Alice Cooper is already on tour in support of his 27th studio album, Paranormal, the rock icon is giving fans another chance to see him live. Yesterday, he announced North American summer dates for “A Paranormal Evening with Alice Cooper.”

Alice Cooper – By Alice Cooper

The jaunt kicks off on August 3 at the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allies, Wisconsin and concludes at the York Fair in York, Pennsylvania. Fans attending the August 10 and 12 dates in Las Vegas and Los Angeles are getting a special treat. Former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley will open up for Alice Cooper on those two dates.

Last year, Alice Cooper released his 27th studio album, Paranormal. This was the first album in six years since the release of Welcome 2 My Nightmare. Paranormal peaked at number one on Billboard’s U.S. Top Hard Rock Albums. Three tracks on the album feature the three surviving members of the Alice Cooper Band: Neal Smith, Dennis Dunaway and Michael Bruce. Additionally, the record features contributions by Larry Muller Jr from U2, Roger Glover from Deep Purple and Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top.
