Five Finger Death Punch are gearing up for their eighth studio release, F8, with a massive European winter tour alongside Megadeth and Bad Wolves.
F8, the follow-up to 2018's And Justice for None, has been preceded by singles "Inside Out" and "Full Circle," and is due February 28th via Better Noise Music. Guitarist Zoltan Bathory says F8 represents "rebirth, progression, transcendence, both personally and musically."
The accompanying tour kicked off January 14th in Kiev, Ukraine, and is scheduled to visit cities throughout Europe and the UK like Paris, Berlin, London, Warsaw and Budapest before wrapping up February 22nd in Sofia, Bulgaria (see a full list of dates below).
So far, the band has been pulling cuts from their entire discography and treating fans to a few surprises. Keep reading for a look at Five Finger Death Punch's Winter European Tour setlist spoilers for all you need to know about the trek!
So ... who exactly are Bad Wolves?
The band supporting Megadeth and FFDP are actually managed by Zoltan Bathory!
The LA-based metal supergroup consists of vocalist Tommy Vext (Divine Hersey, Snot, Westfield Massacure), drummer John Boecklin (DevilDriver), guitarist Doc Coyle (God Forbid), rhythm guitarist Chris Cain (Bury Your Dead, For the Fallen Dreams) and bassist Kyle Konkiel (In This Moment, Scar the Martyr, Vimic).
They just released their sophomore album N.A.T.I.O.N in October, which features singles "I'll Be There," "Killing Me Slowly," "Sober" and "Crying Game." They rose to fame with their cover of The Cranberries' "Zombie," which was originally set to feature Dolores O'Riordan reprising her vocals, before she tragically passed away.
What do FFDP open their set with?
So far, they've opened every show with "Lift Me Up" off The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1.
What do they close with?
They've been closing out their main set with "The Bleeding" off The Way of the Fist, and have also closed out with a cover of The Offspring's "Gone Away" once so far.
What other covers do they play?
So far, they've played Bad Company's "Bad Company," Kenny Wayne Shepherd's "Blue on Black."
How long is their set?
The band has been sticking to a 19-song set. Check out one of their recent setlists!
Is there an encore?
So far, they've only played one encore at their show in Stockholm! It consisted of songs "Under and Over It," an a cappella rendition of "Far From Home," a "Happy Birthday" song and "The Bleeding."
