Rammstein toured and released a new record for the first time in years, last year, with a massive stadium tour in Europe. Today, after teasing it for the past few days, the German Neue Deutsche Härte band has revealed that they will be bringing their tour to North America later this year!
This is a special and rare occasion as the industrial legends hardly come to this part of the world and will be their first ever extensive North American stadium tour. The 10-date trek will kickoff on August 20th in Montreal, Quebec, and wrap up on September 27th in Mexico City. They will visit cities like Washington D.C., Chicago, San Antonio, and Los Angeles along the way.
On the tour, you can expect a setlist comprised of mostly songs off of their latest and seventh studio album Rammstein, LOTS of insane pyrotechnics, and other sensational stunts! The press release also promised:
“This year will see the North American debut of the most extreme spectacle in live music, when Rammstein brings its full-scale stadium production to this continent for the first time ever. Rock ‘n’ roll’s most ambitious pyro-theatrical experience will be on display for a series of 10 open-air dates.”
