2 bands/seperate sets yet one billing?

Why are these shows/artist:
Oct 3, 2013: Jeff Beck & Brian Wilson, St. Augustine Amphitheatre, St. Augustine, FL, USA
showing up together and not separately?they arent the same band. this makes them appear differently on my artist list. for instance I've seen jeff beck and brian wilson a number of times separately. But, if i want to know how many times i've seen them indiffidually, i have to look at two different places. I saw Van halen warm up the stones. same venue same day, 2 different set lists, not merges as one. so, when i want to see how many times i've seen the stones i dont have to search warm up acts. i hope that this makes sense?
